- knowledge of the theory of construction engineering, professional ethics and an understanding of environmentally sustainable construction;
- the requisite knowledge to enable them to be professionally competitive in Estonia and worldwide and to design and conduct construction projects.
Graduates of the curriculum will be given the occupational standard primary qualification of Diploma engineer of buildings and structures (EQF level 7).

- Have knowledge of construction engineering theory and professional ethics of engineering;
- Be able to initiate and creatively solve professional problems and take responsibility both individually and on behalf of a team;
- Be able to analyse situations that arise and critically argue the decisions made with respect to systematic professional knowledge in the specialist area of structural design, construction management, building restoration or architectural design;
- Be able to link the acquired theoretical knowledge with construction practice and to analyse, generalise and assess the efficiency and sustainability of processes within the specialist field of study;
- Be able to express him/herself professionally in at least one foreign language both orally and in writing;
- Understand the necessity of professional practice improvement, self-education and lifelong learning in the context of continuous professional development.

In order to obtain Cum Laude diploma the graduation paper must be defended for the grade "5" and the weighted average grade must be at least 4,60, where all grades from diploma supplement are taken into account.
