Aine eesmärk on osaleda peamiselt reisijate- ja/või kaubaveoga korraldamisega seotud ettevõtte tööprotsessides, eesmärgiga omandada erialast töökogemust, -harjumusi ja -oskuseid; rakendada ja seostada õppeprotsessis omandatut praktikaga.

The aim of this course is to participate in the work processes of a company, mainly related to the organising of passenger and/or freight transport, with the aim of acquiring professional work experience, habits and skills; apply and relate the learning process to practice.

Õppeaine läbinud üliõpilane:
- kirjeldab ettevõtte põhi- ja tugiprotsesse, tööd korraldavaid regulatsioone;
- omab kauba- ja/või reisijateveo korraldamiseks vajalikke pädevusi;
- tunneb ja oskab täita reisijate ning kaubaveo korraldamisega seotud dokumente;
- selgitab ettevõtte kestliku tegutsemise põhimõtteid.

After completing this course, the student:
- describes the basic and support processes of the company, the regulations that organise the work;
- has the competences required to organise freight and/or passenger transport;
- knows and is able to complete the documents related to the organisation of passenger and freight transport;
- explains the principles of sustainable business operation.

Ettevõtte tegevusega tutvumine:
- organisatsioon, ärimudel, partnerid/konkurendid, osutatvad tooted/teenused, tegevust iseloomustavad näitajad, jätkusuutlik areng;
- kauba- ja/või reisijateveo korraldamise protsessi kirjeldus tulenevalt ettevõtte spetsiifikast;
- praktikakohas antud tööülesannete täitmine;
- praktikandi eneseanalüüs (hinnang ja peegeldus).

Soovitavalt ekspedeerimisfirma, agenteerimisfirma, laeva maaklerfirma vms. Aktsepteeritud on ka logistikafirmad või muud ettevõtted, kus on võimalik tutvuda veo korraldamisega seotud tööprotsessiga.

Familiarisation with the company's activities:
- organisation, business model, partners/competitors, products/services provided, performance indicators, sustainable development;
- description of the process of organising freight and/or passenger transport according to the specificities of the company;
- the nature of the tasks to be carried out on the working place;
- trainee's self-analysis (evaluation and reflection).

Preferably a freight forwarding company, an agency company, a ship brokerage company or similar. Logistics companies or other companies where it is possible to get to know the working process involved in the organisation of the transport are also acceptable.
