Introduction to methods of developing and implementing enterprise IT strategies.

Aine läbinu:
1. Seostab IT valitsemise ja juhtimise põhimõtted IT eduka toimimise tagamiseks (COBIT),
2. Kavandab ja sünteesib ettevõtte IT strateegilise plaani (seostades SWOT-analüüsi, erisuste analüüsi, tasakaalustulemuskaardi meetodi, strateegia kaardi)
3. Rakendab IT strateegia elluviimise instrumente (portfellihaldus, ettevõtte riskide haldus) IT taktikaliste plaanide loomisel.
4. Ettevõtte IT strateegia elluviimisel rakendab täiendavaid meetodeid ja instrumente (küberturvalisus, IT audit, IT personalihaldus)

On completion of the course, the student:
1. associates the principles of IT governance and management for ensuring successful IT functioning (COBIT);
2. designs and synthesises an enterprise IT strategic plan (associating SWOT-analysis, distinction analysis, balanced scorecard method, strategy card);
3. applies IT strategy implementation instruments (portfolio management, enterprise risk management) for the creation of IT strategic plans;
4. in implementing an enterprise IT strategy applies additional methods and instruments (cyber security, IT audit, IT personnel management).

Lähtudes ettevõtte visioonist, missioonist, ärieesmärkidest ja äristrateegiast luua ettevõtte IT strateegia. IT strateegia protsess (kontseptuaalne ja detailne tase), plaani sisu.

An examination. To be admitted to the examination the student must have compiled and defended an enterprise IT strategic plan. The examination tests the student’s theoretical knowledge about IT strategic planning.
